2019 Predictions For Personal Brands
These are my 2019 predictions for personal brands. There are so many predictions around. Read what you can and start implementing. This isn’t a question of you shall begin next year. No. It begins now! In all you do, I want you to pay attention to the following.
1) Storytelling
Storytelling has taken over. If you don’t know how to tell stories that align with your brand, presentations and teachings; please go and learn.
2) Videos
Videos will become as important as ever. Learn to repurpose content and distribute.
3) Platform
Make sure you are EVERYWHERE. When people find you, let them see you. Podcast, YouTube, Blogging, LinkedIn, Instagram? It’s a lot of work but you have to water your ground well.
4) Personality
Business will become very personal. Due to the high rate in scam, people will buy from those they know, have gotten value from, like and trust. People have started buying from people and it will increase in 2019.
Take your personal brand seriously.

5) More platforms
LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube will be great grounds in 2019 and don’t forget to learn how to use SEO to grow your business. People will be searching a lot on google (Notice the #FuelYourHustle campaign by Google?)
6) Run ads
What of Facebook? Still works. Just have a budget for ads. It is important that you start running ads now. It will never be this affordable.
7) Human connection
People are craving real human connections. Online classes are good but dear thought leader, plan for hangout, meetings, conferences, events. Organise one or attend one. People are tired of sitting behind their keypads. If you are a thought leader, I strongly recommend you organise one.
8) Your core
People. Platforms. Products. They are the core of your personal brand.
9) Opportunity
Don’t sit and wait for opportunities. Become a content beast (Refer to number 3 again). Apply for opportunities and write to event owners if need be.
